Terms of Service

Welcome to Sakrano (the "Service"), operated by Sakrano.kids ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in [Israel]. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

[SERVICE NAME] is an AI-powered learning platform: users create learning notebooks that generate research, videos, quizzes, and chat, and may buy credits or subscribe to plans to use these features.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. The Service is not directed to children under [13] except through a parent, guardian, or teacher who creates and manages the account on the child's behalf ("managed accounts") and accepts these Terms for that child. Teachers and parents are responsible for their managed students' use.

3. Credits, plans & fair use

Access to paid features is metered in "credits". Credits are a limited licence to use the Service; they are not money, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash. We may change credit costs, plan allotments, and pack contents prospectively. We may apply reasonable measures to prevent abuse.

4. Payments & billing

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled; you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. Applicable taxes (VAT/sales tax) are calculated and collected by Paddle. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) break the law or infringe others' rights; (b) upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content; (c) attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; (d) resell or share access beyond your plan's seats; or (e) use the Service to generate content that is illegal, hateful, or harmful to minors.

6. Your content & AI outputs

You retain ownership of the materials you upload ("User Content"). You grant us a licence to host, process, and use User Content solely to operate and improve the Service. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are for learning support only — they are not professional, medical, legal, or authoritative advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, and branding are owned by Sakrano.kids and its licensors and are protected by law. Except for User Content, no rights are granted to you other than the limited right to use the Service under these Terms.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (including AI/LLM providers, cloud hosting, and Paddle for payments). Their availability and terms are outside our control.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or AI outputs will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sakrano.kids will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to us (via Paddle) in the [3] months before the claim or [USD 50].

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Sakrano.kids against claims arising from your User Content or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. Unused credits may be forfeited on termination for breach.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Israel], and the courts of [Tel Aviv, Israel] have exclusive jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
